A ridiculously expensive proprietary “easy-to-build” application platform with an ecosystem of ridiculously expensive consultants.

Why?Too convoluted, doesn't care about compatibility at all, absurdly slow build system and obnoxious "community"?

Comment on: The Great Steam Deck Crash of 2026: How the New Pricing Decreased Demand by 80%

Steam client is pretty bad. It's slow, full of ads, inconsistent, complex ... Its only quality is that everything else is worse and that it have an interesting ecosystem and ok tier customer policies (but that's unrelated to the software). The thing takes several seconds to start on my brand new gaming rig. Not insufferable but given its only usefulness is to list my games and start one, that's a lot.

Comment on: PayPal to support Ethereum and Bitcoin

I used to use both PayPal and Stripe for my online businessStripe would occasionally charge me an obscene amount of money to pay for the bank "charge back" feesI never had this issue with PayPal; i usually get dispute cases, but they always get positively closedMy only issue with PayPal is their devise conversion fees, i'd argue their behavior there constitutes fraud.. and their UX, their web interface is painfully slow

Comment on: Jiratui – A Textual UI for interacting with Atlassian Jira from your shell

I'd love to work with this. The normal web view is annoyingly slow. Too bad it is not compatible with Api v2 used by on-prem Jira instances.
